How Are Wisdom Teeth Removed?
Wisdom teeth are typically removed through a minor surgical procedure performed by one of our oral surgeons, often under some form of sedation for comfort. The process begins with a consultation and imaging, followed by the procedure itself, which usually takes about 45 – 60 minutes, depending on the number and position of the teeth. During the surgery, a small incision may be made in the gum to access impacted teeth, and the teeth might be sectioned for easier removal.
